i just finished reading a book i borrowed on tues. hah now finishing a storybook within 4 days is a great achievement to me. its a really sick book tho, about war, sexual abuse, violence and psychopaths. if you saw the book cover you wouldnt have expected that. lol. dont judge a book by its cover. nevertheless, an eye-opener.

anw, what have i been up to? lots!
life is getting more exciting! really! i just got a new patient to work with at N-U-H (yayyy! so 2 patients now ) and i miggghhht be given the opportunity to do a mini- research project with K-K-H. i feel good about things.

i know many find it weird that
(a) im not job seeking
(b) doing internship after graduating from uni
(c) postponing my education for 1 year (yes im not gg to Austr! (:)
(d) arent joining moe to be a teacher

but hahahh who cares, i feel good. i feel like i know what im doing. rarely feel this way. so when i finally do, i know its a freaking good sign. let me remind you again what im planning to do. masters of science (Speech and Language Pathology) at NUS in 2011. but since the cohort is small and entry is competitive and i didnt do a degree in that field, coupled with my mediocre results, i have to build up a convincing education portfolio which im trying to right now.

alright. thats about it! and if you are reading this, just leave a comment or somthing so i know you guys are aware of my current state. hahha.

im taking my leave from AAM starting this week. its such a sad decision to make but doing speech pathology has always been what i want. so now that im given the opportunity, of course im gonna grab it. 4 months plus. thats how short the time i’ve spent with the AAM-ers. but it has been the most fulfilling 4months of my life. Alhamdulillah.

and now im off to start a new journey in my life, working with patients with speech/hearing problems. and insyaAllah if all goes well (meaning if the uni accepts me when i apply this oct) i will start school next year. this is pretty tentative cos different sch has different registration period and sch term. yup so for now, where school is concerned, its not confirmed and i will keep you all updated.

last but not the least, im going to perth in september with lynn for a holiday! haha. gosh. surprisingly, there was not a single objection from my parents when i asked if i can go away this raya. anw 1 week only. haha i see this as a great start to my future traveling endevor! Alhamdulillah.
