salam everyone!
im back from BINTAN! (: alhamdulillah, bintan is a really pretty place. the people are so friendly and it made it so easy for us to talk and get to know them. (you see, im trying to make a point to socialize with the locals where ever i travel to)
the beach is okay…not phuket-like.. (cehh bebual mcm dah pernah pegi phuket gitu.) despite things being really pricey there, the service is awesome possum. the people are really approachable ((: all in all, it was a really unforgettable trip with bessie darling and my mum.
so now that im back, im faced with truckloads of obligations and financial depression. errk. my favourite thing to do, LIST them. that way they’ll seem less daunting..or..maybe not.
1. WORKKK! (the one with the special sch for kids, at admiralty) now that my mentor is back from her vacation and the other ST being dismissed, we’ve got BIG plans to revamp stuff and goals. a great challenge, but definitely one im really in for. (:
2. home-based therapy with enn-you-edge. i’ll be getting a new patient, tallying to 5 patients in total. now that we’ve UP-ed the standards, i have to do lots of preparation for each session. its really tiring. especially the fact that i have to prepare the resources on my own. well, i can actually go to enn-you-edge to borrow resources..but…wow. traveling to buona vista is not my kind of thing.
3. Ignite. overseas expedition to cambodia. im really excited about this. with more active members and crystallizing of plans.
4. Ignite. team leaders training. this sounds really fun. im actually looking forward to burnt weekends. haha. im sure adib and i will learn a lot through this. (:
5. holiday trip to bandung and jakarta in March.
6. holiday trip to KL/Genting in March
7. AAM
8. Mentoring youth-at-risk with FY FSC
8. Mt Kinabalu in May ((((:
9. and of course! Cambodia in June or July.
